Bit of a wet night last night and a damp view from the tent this morning.
Tim was late getting the kettle on, standards are slipping ! Talking of kettles and tea, learnt a great lesson this morning-never take a cup of tea inside a tent – I did and I knocked it over, I was knee deep in tea ! Finally cleared and dry by 1030 and off. After a brief ride down a busy dual carriageway it was onto small roads and cycle paths through Irun. One last chance for Tim to enjoy Spanish hills
An hour later and we are in France
Then park bench and breakfast – sadly no Pain au Chocolat at the supermarket.
Then just a short ride to Saint Jean de Luz, where we decided to camp up at a beachfront site and have a half days rest and do a bit of washing. Best bit, was getting a ride on electric golf cart round the site to look at pitches !
