Short entry today, to wrap up this trip as flying home first thing tomorrow. Very overcast this morning with rain forecast, so decided to revisit Brompton junction and then go for a short ride around.
This time Brompton junction was open, I got my spare part, had a lovely chat on all things Brompton, was offered a coffee and got to test ride the new Brompton G line ( think folding gravel bike). You’ll be pleased to know, much as I liked it, I doubt very much I’ll be buying one, even though the manager said I could buy tax free due to Brexit! Of course HM customs might have a view on that.
Oh and they kindly gave me some stickers, which are now proudly displayed on my bike case !
The short ride was indeed very short as the threatened heavy rain came. So it was back to the hotel and a museum visit in the afternoon.
